There are many different sources of energy, some of these have been harnessed so they can be used for electricity. Not all sources are widely used, especially renewable sources. Here are some of the resources that we use to produce electrical energy known as electricity, in our daily lives.

First, we have OIL, which is where most of all our electric needs are satisfied from. Most of us cannot comprehend how dependent most of the modern day world is upon this precious jewel called “OIL” a.k.a. “Black Gold” or “Petroleum”. I can say, ‘OUR’ whole world, because most of the world uses this resource to run their day to day lives. Without oil, our modern world as you know it would cease to exist. There are many products that come from oil, not just gasoline. I could go on and on about this subject but this specific article is about alternate energy sources, mainly clean energy so lets keep going. If you would like to know more about oil you can check out these links.

http://www.worldoil.com/

NATURAL GAS, (a product from inside the earth, it is burned for energy) this is also a very widely used source of energy. Natural gas is mainly used in the heating of homes and cooking. Look at these links to learn more about natural gas.

http://www.superiorpropane.com /external/bins/splash.asp
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N atural_gas
http://www.naturalgas.org/

COAL, (mined from within the earth and burned as a fuel source) is another still widely used source of energy, for more information check out these links.

http://www.eia.doe.gov/oiaf/ie o/coal.html
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C oal
http://www.worldcoal.com/

NUCLEAR POWER, ( energy is created by the splitting of atomic nuclei, called fission. This creates heat used to boil water, thus creating steam to turn a turbine creating electricity.) is another prime source of energy, nuclear energy is used for: propulsion, heat and electricity. The United States produces more nuclear power than any other country with the EU coming in second. The downsides to using nuclear power is that there is a possibility for a plant meltdown which would spray radiation all over for miles. Also, the leftover radioactive waste from the fission reaction is very dangerous to most life and life forms and it takes thousands of years before the radioactive residue will no longer be harmful. For more information go to.

Why?

Because I wanted to make some money while sharing my belief about God, as well as my ideas, free stuff and everything else.

This isn’t my first blog, in fact it’s like my 8th blog I’ve started. 6 of the blogs didn’t go anywhere, mainly because I didn’t write in any of them. 1 of my blogs was a semi success as I was getting high ranked key phrases in google, as well as getting traffic from google. But then when everything seemed to be taking off the whole thing was deleted because of an error on the free host server.

Well I’m at it again, but I’m not sure if its even worth it. Starting over from scratch, ground zero. It’s hard to start over when you were almost a success with one blog. But I guess that’s the way it goes. Sometimes it’s probably a good idea to start all the way over.

At least I learned a few things a long the way with my semi success with my previous blog.

So here I am.

If this blog becomes a success then that’s great and if it doesn’t well that just means I gotta try again.

At this very moment I am in my brothers apartment sitting on a couch with a blanket typing this on a laptop.

I didn’t get much sleep last night because I didn’t feel tired. I hate it when I can’t get to sleep it’s so annoying. At least I was able to get some sleep.

So I was thinking that the best way I am going to make any of my beginners money through blogging is through payperpost. Your blog needs to be about 1 month old with 30 posts. Then you can start writing articles and getting paid for em. Sounds like a great way to make my first 100 dollars on the internet. I still have a few posts and days to go before my 1st month comes by. However I’ve already signed up with payperpost and now I’m just waiting for myself to hurry up and finish writing the 30 posts.

Anyway, I have a payperpost signup graphic to the left on my sidebar below the weather widget. If your thinking that you want to make some money online too, then payperpost is a great way to get started earning.

I hope you enjoyed this post. If not Let me know in the comments below.

Till next time.

If your a writer and your interested in making some extra cash on the side then head on over to Helium.com. At this writers social news website you can write articles on just about any topic. Just browse the site for a topic you’d be interested in writing about then go ahead and start writing that topic or if you need you can research the topic before you begin writing your article.

That’s what I did with most of my articles that I wrote for Helium.com. As you can see from the image below I’ve written four articles. Each one of my articles is at the highest rating a #1. Rating is based upon how informative your article is, how well you write and how much other readers like yourself enjoy your writing.

Once you finish your news topic you’ll submit it to the site and it gets rated by other users. The more people that enjoy your article the higher it will go up the chain and vice versa. The catch is you have to be a good writer to make any kind of money. The articles at the top #1 make the most cash then #2 and so on. Your earnings are also based on how often your article is viewed by readers, the more people that read yours the more you’ll make.

So by viewing my image below you can see that I’ve written 4 articles each are at #1 and I have earned approximately $3.40 . Now just think if I would have kept on writing how much I could have made. In fact If I would have kept on writing I might have received a check by now

I’ve been to Europe twice during the last three years and I would have to say that on my first trip over I spent a lot of cash. I didn’t know my way around and I was pretty clueless of what to travel on. Should I travel by bus, train, airplane?!? I just didn’t know. I gained experience from my travels and I can let you in on what is the best and cheapest way to travel while in Europe. If your looking to travel long distances throughout Europe in the shortest amount of time, then I suggest that you go by plane. I found that these airline websites have the best deals when it comes to traveling in Europe.

EASYJET http://www.easyjet.com/, RYANAIR http://www.ryanair.com/site/EN /, BLUE AIR http://www.blueair-web.com/ind ex.php?location=index&LANG=EN , Try these sites for fast cheap flights in the EU. If your looking for international flights try http://www.travelocity.com/ in the US and http://www.travelocity.co.uk/ while in the UK, Traveocity has excellent deals. On my last flight from back from Europe to Canada I spent approximately $500 American dollars one way traveling all the way from Bucharest, Romania to Toronto Canada. Now thats a heck of a deal. As long as you know where to look online you can get fantastic prices.

Now if your looking for short distance travel while in Europe (city to city travel, unless your in eastern European countries then trains are also good) I recommend taking a bus, you can try Eurolines http://www.eurolines.com/. Now if your thinking that their quality is like greyhound then you’d be mistaken. Eurolines takes care of its customers, I’ve had the opportunity to travel on both and Euroline’s customer service definitely exceeds greyhound not to mention the buses are cleaner. It’s comfortable and affordable and if you can’t seem to find any cheap flights you can always take Eurolines it’s the next best thing. As for trains they are usually pretty expensive traveling long distances. Although, If your in one of the eastern European countries (Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary) traveling by train is usually pretty cheap.

Now if your wondering about taking a Taxi, it varies from country and city, a taxi in London, England is very expensive while in Bucharest, Romania they are pretty cheap. Although, public transportation is still cheaper either way( subway, underground, trolleys). Also, if your not careful in eastern European countries you can get quite ripped off while taking a taxi so be cautious if your going to do so. If your wondering about renting a car, I don’t know anything on this, so it’s best to consult one more familiar on this matter.

Thats all my spill on this subject I hope that in some way this has and will be helpful on your journey throughout Europe.

Well I guess Bill Gates isn’t going to let himself loose too much sleep over this especially since he’s already retired from Microsoft and never has to work a day in his life ever again. I’ll have to admit though he did have a good run with his windows os.

I’m going to predict that the demise of the windows os is coming and it’s sometime within our near future.

What!? The demise of windows? That’s never going to happen how can you even think of such a thing!

All I have to say in response to that is all those window users out there don’t know what their missing when it comes to Linux.

So what is Linux?

A few years ago when I first heard about the Linux OS I hadn’t the foggiest idea of what it was or even did. I actually didn’t even care to learn anything about it. I was like, I’ve got windows why do I need a Linux OS? How totally naive I was to make such a statement to myself.

So for those of you out there who don’t have a clue just like I use to, let me give you a little history lesson on the low down of Linux.

Linux is an operating system that was developed as a hobby by Linus Torvalds a student from the University of Helsinki in Finland. Linus had an interest in another Unixed based os called Minx and he believed that he could develop a system that exceeded Minx’s standards.

So that’s exactly what Linus did, he began working on his project in 1991 and continuously worked on his project until around 1994 when he released the Linux Kernel. The kernel is the heart and core of the os, it’s released under the GNU (General Public License) which basically means that anyone is free to edit the code and redistribute it at will.

Literally hundreds of companies and individuals have developed their own versions from this Linux Kernel created by Linus.

The way that this Kernel has been designed allows for the ultimate in ease of functionality, adaptability and robustness. It is now the main alternative for proprietary Unix and Microsoft systems. Now into it’s second decade the os platform Linux has gain worldwide popularity for server platforms.

As of now the home and desktop pc users of Linux are significantly on the rise. Which is what I want to mainly cover in this post.

The system can also be incorporated into microchips in an embedding process for a variety of different appliances and devices. Overall this OS is becoming more and more of a widespread tool for many types of uses. Linux has even very recently been accepted into the mainstream product line where Wal-Mart has started selling desktops pc with the OS.

Anyway, getting back to what I wanted to talk to everyone about =).

A few days ago my roommate wanted me to take a look at his computers that he had stashed away to see if I could figure out why they weren’t working. I took a look at one of them, did a little bit of troubleshooting and viola I had it up and working within a few minutes.

Though my roommate and I then discovered that he didn’t have access to the main windows user account which would allow him to install programs etc… We thought about reformatting the hard drive and reinstalling the windows os but both of us had lost our copied versions of the software.

So I was thinking to myself what my options where and made a decision to browse the web to see what it could offer me in terms of solutions. I started searching the web for an answer to my problem and thats when I came across the coolest OS system ever…. LINUX ….

However, at that current moment in time little did I realize how cool this operating system was until I took a bit of a closer look. Then I said to myself why in the world am I still using Windows!?!?! But I knew why, and the reason was Microsoft.

So without further ado allow me to open your eyes into a whole new world.

Linux’s Super Cool Features:

First and the most significantly important aspect of Linux is that it’s FREE and supported by the open source community.

Has a GUI (Graphical User Interface)

It’s light weight and extremely powerful.

Runs smoothly and efficiently.

Runs on a wide variety of hardware platforms, from huge mainframes to desktop PCs and cell phones.

Runs as a live CD or DVD

Boots From USBs

Dual Booting (Boot from either linux or windows)

Has a variety of Linux “flavors” called distributions.

Linux has less than 1500 known viruses (Windows has over 80,000)

Free Open Source software packages. Including an online repository that Linux connects to when you’re looking to install new programs. ( Which is so way cool) Windows doesn’t even have this feature.

And a whole ton more…..

But I think that this feature here is one of the most profound misconceptions that windows users have, they don’t realize that they don’t need to know a required knowledge of textual commands. I am quite sure in fact that most window users are oblivious to this very fact and seem to believe that Linux is strictly a command line os. (Because I believed that too at one time) Which is just simply untrue, there are some versions out there like this but most distributions today have a GUI and a command line terminal.

One of the nifty features about Linux being free is that you can download it from the internet straight to your desktop as an ISO image.(International Organization for Standardization Format) Then burn it onto a CD or DVD for installation at no cost to you. You can install Linux on USB memory sticks too.

The open source community is continually improving upon the Linux OS and in due time will be far superior to windows if it isn’t already right now. I’ve included a distribution link above to a list of different Linux OS that you can go check out. I highly suggest that you take a look and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed, you’ll be able to find a Linux os that suits your needs or unique style.

Currently the most popular Linux Flavor is Ubuntu it’s simple, fast and very easy to install. It’s the version I downloaded and installed on my roommates two computers. One for his desktop and the other for his laptop, so far they both run without any problems.

Linux is just too cool for it’s own good and it’s a operating system that you shouldn’t just ignore. It may have a slightly higher learning curve but when your finished you’ll be glad you have Linux. In my opinion it’s one of the best os out there besides Apple’s OS.

When you use Linux you’ll get the bragging rights that come with it and all your friends and acquaintances will think your a super genius.

Linux is a fantastic beautifully crafted operating system that you can use for you desktop as an alternate choice to windows, I highly recommend it and I believe that once you start using it you won’t ever want to go back.

It’s great because it’s totally free, you can install it on as many machines as you want, give it to your friends or whatever. The potential possibilities the os opens up are endless and by using Linux you will help making a difference for a better world. An open source world one filled with free software.

Using Linux is a no cost solution that will save you and your business money and you’ll thank me for showing you the door to this new world.

Use Linux and you’ll be helping to free our world.

Freedom never sounded so good. Thank you Linus Torvalds for giving us this gift.

Oh yeah and I almost If your worried about not being able to play games, Linux has that covered too =)

In todays world you never know who could be snooping over your shoulder while you’re working on your laptop.

Or when you finally decide to upgrade and buy a new pc you carelessly get rid of your old one. Either of these circumstances can put you at risk for the improper use of your information.

You may not realize that even though you think you’ve deleted a file or program it’s still someplace on your hard drive. When you delete a file or anything on your computer what happens is that, that section of hard drive space which was allocated for the specific file is just marked off as an area to be used for future data.

The file is still on your computer and you just simply cannot access it through normal computer means. But someone who has above average computer skills possesses the know how to access that data, which makes you vulnerable to all sorts of problems. There even exist programs on the market which allow the common user to recovery your files. (scary thought) So it’s definitely important to make sure your information is secure by permanently removing the data from your computer.

I know that I don’t want people snooping and accessing my long lost data, so thats why I use a program to rid myself of it. Outside the realm of the internet we use paper shredders to destroy information that would otherwise pose us an unnecessary risk. Thats why you’ll need something that can do this for you in the virtual realm as well.

It’s important to take data security seriously, I secure data from my hard drive by using a program called the file shredder. The file shredder permanently deletes files on my computer completely forever. Not to mention it’s free.

The file shredder destroys unwanted files beyond any type of recovery. It’s a very light weight, fast, simple, reliable and powerful program to shred your personal or company files. Surpassing many commercial file shredders already on the market. With this awesome program you will be able to clear files permanently with out the worry that somebody out there will take and use your information.

The file shredder will delete all your files by rewriting them with random series of binary data multiple times. This process erases the data completely keeping your information secure from those individuals wishing to exploit it.

This program allows you to choose between 5 different shredding algorithms each one stronger than the one before. As well as including an integrated disk wipe utility that uses the shredder to wipe unused disk space.

The softwares author believes that such a program should be freely available to everyone and that’s why this program is completely free of charge. Using this program will save you money and it’s perfect if you don’t have any to spend.

However if your looking for a product that provides even more comprehensive protection then I suggest you go and check out the Archicrypt file shredder. It’s extremely powerful for a shredding application. However, if you don’t need the features that Archicrypt provides and prefer individual utilities for important activities then Blanco has some great quality commercial products. Blanco has a fantastic Data Cleaner for shredding whole hard drives which is a feature the file shredder doesn’t do yet.

If your still not quite satisfied then check out this suit of applications that is by far the best package of security tools on the net from Cyberscrub. The application suite includes: Data Destruction, Evidence Cleaner and Password Manager.

Download The File Shredder (Free) Help Files

Remember keep that data secure!
